Dr. Varga Hosseini is an artist, curator, and writer. 

Since 1998, he has written extensively on contemporary Australian visual culture and contributed articles, reviews and essays to prominent publications, including Artlink, Australian Art Collector, The Broadsheet, Australian Women’s Book Review, Eremos, Eyeline, NAVA Quarterly, Realtime and Vitamin.

Projektor has been developed by Dr. Hosseini as a platform for the appreciation and interpretation of cinema, music video, and visual art.

Projektor endeavours to provide regular updates, reviews and essays on motion pictures from around the world, as well as showcasing collaborative paintings that explore the relationship between light and texture through an abstract visual idiom.
